Victoria Harbour, Hong Kong
victoria-harbor-2.jpg
Victoria Harbour is a natural body of water separating Hong Kong Island from the Kowloon Peninsula. The harbour's deep, sheltered waters and strategic location on the South China Sea were instrumental in Hong Kong's establishment as a British colony. It also helped with the subsequent development of Hongkong as a trading center.
