Toden Arakawa Line - The Sakura Tram is the nickname for the Toden Arakawa Line, one of only two streetcar lines serving Tokyo. It runs through the north of Tokyo, from Waseda Station viaSugamo and Arakawa before arriving at Minowabashi. The tram snakes through alleys and residential quarters, showing passengers an entirely different side of Tokyo and the chance to view everyday life of ordinary Tokyoites: traditional homes, flowers, rivers all of which makes a ride on the Arakawa Line so memorable. In April the streetcar offers breathtaking views of cherry blossoms, hence its nickname the Sakura Tram. The Arakawa Line is the sole survivor of the unce-upon-a-time extensive Tokyo streetcar system
