Tokuganji Temple Garden

Gyotoku was famous for its salt production as Gyotoku Salt Field during the Edo period. Tokuganji Temple was founded in this area in 1610 by Tokugawa Ieyasu. Its lawn-covered garden from the rest area is respendant with its wisteria trellis and a dry stream paved with cobblestones. Blue stones and other materials are used for the rock work of the bank. Tokuganji has a large wisteria tree respondent in late April and early May
