Onsen Saya no Yudokoro is a hot spring located in Itabashi Ward, Tokyo. It features a beautiful garden called Meiseki no Niwa - Garden of Inscribed Stones designed by modern landscape gardener Motozane Oguchi who renovated the garden based on the one that was originally created in 1948. Looking directly ahead from the tatami room of Kakitensha restaurant a rock formation is shown with a waterfall cascading down from a standing stone, the flowing dry river is expressed with brown sand. The garden is filled with famous stones, including Kurama stone from Kyoto, red stone from Iyo, granite from Koshu, Tsukuba stone and Chichibu stone from the Kanto region. Some stones are colorful, making it a distinctive feature, typical of a garden created by a skilled craftsman.
