Geijutsunomori Park Art Forest

Geijutsunomori Park Art Forest accommodates arts and culture-focused museums within picturesque, sculpture-dotted gardens backgrounded by Mount Fuji. Yamanashi Arts Park is also home to the Yamanashi Prefectural Museum of Art and the Yamanashi Prefectural Museum of Literature. The nature-filled park has a rose garden and Japanese garden, offering beautiful scenery for all four seasons. Sculptures by artists such as Auguste Rodin and Taro Okamoto are displayed at various locations throughout the park, and together with the wonderful view of Mount Fuji, create a unique collaboration of art and nature. Although the Japanese pond garden is well maintained and beautifully designed, it is more of a spot for locals out for a stroll or for walking the dog rather than s tourist attraction.
