My Darling Restaurant Bangkok is one of the better choices for cheap eats with a twist in the Khao Sarn Road area of Bangkok. Once an area that catered to backpackers on a shoestring, the atmosphere has gone decided upmarket in recent years. My Darling was the first of a group of restaurants along Soi Rambutri in this area - all have the same menu, with a smattering of eclectic statues to amuse and entertain while waiting for your banana pancakes and smoothies.
