Candi Sewu is an 8th-century Buddhist temple located in the compound of Prambanan near Yogyakarta. Candi Sewu is the second-largest Buddhist temple in Java after Borobudur. Sewu temple complex is the largest Buddhist compound in Prambanan, with rectangular grounds and entrances at all four points, Each of the entrances were once guarded by twin Dvarapala statues.
