Cornstalk Hotel New Orleans - The gorgeous French Quarter Victorian is on the National Register of Historic Places, and is famous as a tourist attraction. The 'cornstalk' fence was erected in 1840 by the owner, recently married, who wanted to please his bride because of her homesickness for her home state of Iowa.
The Cornstalk Hotel has attracted many famous guests: Bill and Hillary Clinton, as well as Elvis graced the halls of The Cornstalk.
