The Mansion is also known as the Mansion House - the official summer residence of the President of the Philippines. The mansion is located in the summer capital of the country Baguio, at around 5000 feet or 1500 meters elevation in the Cordillera mountains. The Mansion was built in 1908 to serve as the official summer residence of the US Governor-General for William Cameron Forbes. The building is named from the summer cottage in New England of Governor Forbes. The Mansion is elegantly designed Spanish Colonial Revival building.
