One of the first and still most famous is Gakutensoku, created in 1928 and on display at Osaka Museum of Science. Gakutensoku moves its head, changes facial expressions, as its face is made of rubber. The eyes, eyelids, cheeks, mouth, neck and chest can all move. Cute and retro, but since these were created, more modern robots have been developed with more of an edge.
