Sankampaeng Hot Springs is made up of a forty acre park containing geysers, footbaths, picnic areas and hot springs. The park has been nicely landscaped. This is a very active geological area. The water, at a scalding temperatures of more than a hundred degrees centigrade comes from a deep source. Thais and other asians like to boil eggs in baskets at the springs and watch the geysers erupt. Others prefer to soak in the cooled-down hot spring soaking pools and nearby footbaths.
