Kaizoji Temple Zen Garden Atami - Kaizoji is a temple of the Myoshinji school of the Rinzai sect located in the hills of Atami. It is the family temple of Shoyo Tsubouchi, a literary figure who founded Waseda University's Faculty of Letters. There is series of splendid stone steps leading up to the temple gate. Within the grounds there is a dry landscape garden in front and a pond garden with a waterfall stone arrangement that makes use of the topography.
