The cliffs attract rock climbers from all around the world. The peninsula is very popular because of its pristine beaches. East Railay is mostly mangroves, with a few hot spots for rock climbers. West Railay Beach, connected to the east side by trails through the jungle is the main destination for beach lovers in Railay. The beach, is framed by high limestone cliffs on both ends. Longtail boats are available to hire for transport to Ao Nang, Ko Phi Phi and Krabi Town.
