The Dutch left some historical buildings in Indonesia during their administration that lasted for hundreds of years. The buildings were called loji by local people because of its grand sizes. Most of these old structures are in the city center of Yogyakarta, near the Grand Post Office. The best preserved of these is now occupied by Bank of Indonesia as well as Vredeburg Fortress across the street.
