Jokyo-ji Temple Garden - Jokyo-ji Temple is a Rinzai sect Myoshinji temple located in Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture. Its Japanese garden is a cultural property garden designated as a scenic spot by Hokuto City. Behind the main hall and reception hall, there is a pond garden that makes use of the terrain of the mountain behind it. It is a pond garden with the main hall as the main viewpoint, quite large and spacious. The garden is thought to have been created in the early Edo period, around the same time as the temple was founded, but its style gives a sense of the style that Muso Soseki left behind in Kai Province.
