Borobudor Bas Relief - Borobudur is a ninth century Mahayana Buddhist made up of six platforms and decorated with more than 2000 bas-relief panels and 500 Buddha statues. The main dome at the center of the top platform is surrounded by 72 Buddha statues seated among perforated stupas. The monument is both a shrine to the Lord Buddha and a place for Buddhist pilgrimage.
