Meaning literally "chopstick hill" Khao Takiab is at the southern end of Hua Hin beach famous for its 20 meter tall Buddha statue. There are other Buddhas and Guanyin statues at the summit. The hill is also know as Monkey Mountain thanks to the large numbers of macaques monkeys that live there. Khao Takiap projects over the sea. There is a trail to the top of the mountain, where visitors can clearly admire the scenery of the beach and Hua Hin city.
