Floating Sake at Onsen

Onsen or hot springs are a popular form of recreation in Japan. A few onsen or baths have the unique custom of serving sake on little floating trays which can be drunk while soaking in the bath. Onsen come in many types and shapes, including outdoor rotenburo where you can often order a cold beer or sake to enjoy while bathing.
